In June 2025, to accelerate the integration of technology and economy in the "Sci-Tech Innovation China" pilot cities, enhance the technological R&D and product innovation capabilities of enterprises in the textile industry, and promote the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, the China Textile Engineering Society (CTES) and Xiamen Youpai New Life Technology Co., Ltd. jointly established the "CTES Disposable Underwear Research Center." The two parties will engage in deep cooperation focusing on technological breakthroughs in disposable underwear and the industrialization and standardization of scientific research achievements.

As an authoritative institution in Chinas textile technology sector, the China Textile Engineering Society is a national first-class society. Founded in 1930, and through nearly a century of profound accumulation and vigorous development, it has become a core force and key hub in Chinas textile industry science and technology innovation system. It not only gathers resources from top universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises, but itsleading role in formulating"T/CTES" national group standards also serves as a benchmark for industry technological progress and an important basis for product quality, safety, and sustainable development.

This powerful empowerment signifies that Xiamen Youpai has gained a robust engine for leading cutting-edge technological R&D and innovation, and also inaugurates a new era of innovation-driven, high-quality industrial development aimed at leading the industrys future.

Two Strategic Directions, Setting a Benchmark

The establishment of this research center primarily focuses on two core missions:

1、Technological Breakthroughs in Disposable Underwear:

Through independent R&D and industry-academia-research collaboration, the center will focus on overcoming key technical challenges in areas such as material safety, comfort enhancement, and production process optimization for disposable underwear. This aims to drive product iteration towards high performance, softness/skin-friendliness, and environmental friendliness, meeting consumers higher pursuit of health and quality.

2、Standardization and Industrialization of Scientific Achievements:

Guided by science and technology, the center will formulate core standards for disposable underwear covering raw material specifications, production process flows, quality testing methods, and environmental certification criteria to ensure product quality. Simultaneously, it will validate the effectiveness of these standards through large-scale application, forming a closed loop of "innovation - transformation - optimization," thereby achieving sustainable industrial development.
