On May 15, 2024, the Enterprise Scholarship Donation Ceremony and Youpai Special Brand Design Award Presentation Ceremony, hosted by Xiamen University of Technology, was held in the conference room of the School of Design and Art. Xiamen Youpai New Life Technology Co., Ltd., as the donor of the scholarship, was invited to participate.

Attendees of the event included Sun Guiwu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Design and Art of Xiamen University of Technology, Meng Weidong, Dean of the School, Lin Jian, Chairman of Xiamen Youpai New Life Technology Co., Ltd., Xiao Weili, wife of the Chairman, as well as many guests from universities and enterprises, and teachers and students of the school. To work together to promote the construction of a sustainable student aid system by enterprises and universities, help the growth of outstanding young students, and contribute to the construction of teaching and scientific research in the school.

In his speech to all teachers and students, Meng Weidong, Dean of the School of Design and Art of Xiamen University of Technology, emphasized that Xiamen University of Technology attaches great importance to and thanks Xiamen Youpai for this donation. While caring for and helping college students, enterprises also provide them with good practical training opportunities.

Chairman Lin Jian, who has been running the enterprise for nearly 30 years, said that a strong youth makes a strong country, and a wise youth makes a wise country. In the tide of rapid development, the iteration and update of brands and markets are changing with each passing day. Having been deeply engaged in the disposable underwear industry for 30 years, Xiamen Youpai not only undertakes economic, social and environmental responsibilities, but also gives back to society with practical actions. Adhering to such an enterprise philosophy, it launched this scholarship donation to Xiamen University of Technology. On this occasion, Xiamen Youpai donated a total of 90,000 yuan to Xiamen University of Technology to support discipline construction and student practical education, help the school improve the overall educational environment, and express deep care for the growth of young students.

To encourage students of Xiamen University of Technology to practice and participate in brand and product design in advance, Xiamen Youpai specially set up a special brand design collection activity for the students of the school. During the donation ceremony, students with excellent and creative works in the collection activity were awarded prizes and certificates.

Prior to this, Xiamen Youpai had established a profound cooperative relationship with Xiamen University of Technology. As early as the beginning of 2019, Xiamen Youpai, together with Xiamen University of Technology and a number of enterprises, jointly drafted the "T/CTES 1020-2019 Group Standard for Disposable Underwear", which was officially implemented in the same year. This revised the situation where there were no standards to follow in the disposable underwear industry and set a new benchmark for the industry.

Returning to Xiamen University of Technology this time, Chairman Lin Jian felt honored to communicate face-to-face with teachers and students. At the exchange meeting, he summarized and shared the experience of Xiamen Youpais 30 years of development. Combined with the concept of "each appreciating its own beauty, appreciating others beauty, and achieving mutual beauty" mentioned in General Secretary Xi Jinpings speech, he encouraged students of Xiamen University of Technology to not only fully learn professional knowledge during their study in the university, but also be good at discovering their own strengths and attributes, so that each can shine in their own areas of expertise and achieve a hundred flowers blooming. They should bravely practice, go out of the campus, embrace the world, gradually build their own energy field, and timely extend a helping hand when people around them need help, influencing and uniting all people around them with their best efforts. Only by learning to appreciate others beauty can we achieve mutual beauty. Every young persons dream is also part of the Chinese Dream of this era. Through this exchange, Xiamen Youpai also hopes to trigger more college students perception and understanding of the market, and stimulate their confidence and enthusiasm in pursuing their dreams.

After the donation ceremony, Chairman Lin Jian and the school leaders of Xiamen University of Technology visited the discipline experiment construction of the School of Design and Art. During the visit to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Craft Laboratory, Material Laboratory and Innovation and R&D Platform, Chairman Lin Jian said that the equipment for cultivating talents in university campuses has gradually become intelligent and comprehensive, and he looks forward to seeing students of Xiamen University of Technology shine and grow into talents in their areas of expertise in the future.
